31st dec already. one more day to 2007.
three more days to school. and i've done no homework. like heh. who cares.

the aftermath of dnd. tired lor. and i slept at 2 am last night.
woke up like 10. then slack till 1+
then mummy made me drank the panadol flu drink with two panadols
went to meet esther and fell asleep on the bus.
emm went to expo la. then svc and fellowship.
and now home.
sorrrrrry for the short post. i just aint in the mood to do anything. yet i'm so bored.


so what, after today, we are just going to stay miles away from one another?

I sooooo totally can crash now.
i'm tired. very very tired. physically la.
heh thanks to those who volunteered to catch my eyes if they fell out.
and the contacts are sooo irritating.
woke up like 10? umm guess the weather too nice.
finally some fresh air cause i was like super sick la.
and i was very very very cold.
but this morning, fever 's gone and flu's here.
and it was irritating la.
serene came at 1.45. and we went out la.
went back home to settle some stuffs.
and then walk to celest house with esther.
change and everything, make up and play la.
experiment with alot of colours and took cab down with celest.
then she helped merilyn make up la.
then i just rush in and out, waiting for the rest lo.
erm it started late la. but overall it was enjoyable.
then we danced and stuff. gave out awards.
congrats to adrina and n349!
we bagged the most awards i guess.
and everyone was totally high high.
walked to mac to eat. laugh and joke there.
and well em took cab home.
jun kai was crapping with the taxi driver la.
hahaaaaaaa. what a day. and now i want sleep.

and i wannnnnnnnt to watch night in the mesuem AGAIN!

Actually i wanted to blog yesterday before leaving the house.
sadly my internet connection FAILED. like toot.
and my lappy came back yesterday. but i was going out in a rush.
i went to PS to walk alone before joining Jun Kai, Merilyn and Wen kai at long john.
apparently Jun Kai and Merilyn went to the Dnd dance practice la.
i cannot go because of my dumb back. like cant do much of dances.
emm we were late in meeting timothy and esther. =x sorry
uhh we went to palawan beach to play.
erm timothy cant cause he didnt bring extra clothes. :(
well we didnt inform him also. our bad.
then it started to rain. soo we walk all the way back to sijori.
and into the room XD. took turns to clean up and watch tyra banks.
then around 7.30 we went for dinner at ferry terminal.
and sadly the food court was gone. and food are super expensive.
end up we walk around ferry terminal. and timothy was suaning me.
cause i was hungryy. uhh well then timothy left. and we walk back all the way to the resort.
and then we ate downstairs cause it was the cheapest.
merilyn had singapore curry, wen kai had hor fun and i had hokkien mee.
and we ordered potato wedges also. erm we were super full and we called esther down to eat.
then we slack around, watching shows after shows, eating potato chips and maggie mee and everything. then at 11pm. we watch anime with wen kai. at 12+ they watch soccer for awhile, i fell asleep. umm woke up at 8 in the morning. then sleep back.
then woke up at 8.30 and slowly dily daly. emm watch america's funniest videos.
and some shows. pillow fights and get ready to check out la.
then we all went home. i went to compass later to meet chyuan ming.
and i was hailing for a cab under the rain. and this kind girl offered her umbrella.
but i refused la. anyway the cab came soon. then took cab to bowen to meet chyuan ming.
then we went to compass. on the way to bowen uncle asked me if i was a teacher there. -.-
like i look that old T.T
we had pizza hut and the CSR was very cute. erm called sally.
she peep at our student pass and when she saw chyuan ming's. she giggled away.
we went shopping afterwards. uhh i cant find anything. actually i saw this shoes very nice.
erm 49.90 and nearly cause my blood vessels to burst. end up i have to leave it there on the shelf. T.T
bought famous amos cookies for sammie and went to her house.
play games and games. and now i'm home.
and its soo fast, tml's DND.
AHH I'M NOT READY YET.

HAPPY BOXING DAYY!
well after christmas, life back to the same.
and thank God, i didnt have a bad bad hangover from yesterday.
well i got up at 9. like soo early.
then meet merilyn at 12. cut my hair and trim my eyebrow.
and i seriously didnt know it was going to be soo painful.
umm celest joined us. and then we made our way down to orchard and we part ways with celest.
umm we went to shaw house to watch night in the museum. with wen kai and rachel
at first we ate la. the waited for eugene and jin kai.
then we chat until 3. and we ran into the wrong hall.
but end up at least didnt miss much.
it was freaking hilarious. and my favourite is the easter island statue.
hahaha go watch it yourself. and i laugh until i teared.
and we were sitting quite far. so we climb till we are panting.
it ended around 5. went around far east to look for celest dress.
then walk around. many rounds.
and got my dress back from the shop.
hmmm went to vivo to shop.
walk many many many many rounds.
and ate dinner at 9++
by the time we finish dinner rachel got very high over the statue thing.
then we went home la.
hmm tml is the LONG LONG awaited day la.
and i'll be going PS and then to vivo there.
get the Dorothy Perkins clutch XD.

Christmas' over and well HAPPY BOXING DAY.
this year's christmas was definitely not enjoyable. like duh.
everybody's hogging my comp to play o2jam.
and the server gladly let them so. screw the server.
and guess what. it's a nutty christmas. the log cake and the pizza are nuts
macadamia, almond, hazelnut, walnut. all the nuts.
and steamboat was tasteless. cause the defination of saltiness is so different from grandma.
uhh actually plan to go compass, get pizza, buy log cake, sushi and my shoe for dnd.
metro had to go on holiday. and well i've to get it another day.
by the time we return home. all the people are already hogging my comp.
and i had to watch the tv instead.
and then fight for my comp. well i got back my comp by fighting o2jam with them.
heh i win them so thus. my comp.
and my big cousin came back. from dunno where.
so at least like i got someone to talk to.
around 8+, we went to k the log cakes and they got all the wines out.
in total, 6 bottles. i drank 3 glasses and i got knock out.
it was a terrible terrible feeling. cause my heart is beating soo fast.
and it was just terrible. i black out for an hour. and woke up at 11.
so i dunno what they do to my comp.
and they left la. and i'm off alcohol for sometimes.
and the worse thing, they left all the bottles in my house.
like how nice is this. and this christmas day was awwwwwful. terrible.
and hopefully next year it will be better.
and hello. boxing day. going out with merilyn to dunno where to settle dnd stuffs.
going to far east to get my dress, and more stuffs. and to ps to get stuffs.
and maybe i'll be off somewhere. not going to mind's cafe though.
and the movie? maybe i'll watch it alone or something.
wednesday will be my once in a year relaxation/ reflection time.
and on thurs, chyuan ming will be treating me and merilyn to pizza hut,
in exchange of my haagen daz. and friday is dnd. well i'm actually excited not.
saturdays will be for church. sundays to go uhh grandma's house for more wine -.-
and then wednesday is back to school. i haven finish a teeny weeny bit of my homework.
like its panic time. by then. a new school life 3e4 .
wonder how it would be like? more havoc then 2e3'06 hopefully.
and see teachers burst a few vessels or something.
oo and wonder who'll be my teacher next year.
probably i'll see how things are going. i may even have to pull out of syf.
and by then, i'll cry to my death.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Christmas svcs are good. like very very good. especially the drama production. and i'm much of noticing ryan during the dance la. ooo the best dancer in the WHOLE WORLD. I was debating in my mind whether to go svc this morning or not. well the cookies are with me and its i have to go kind of stuff. yup so i went la early in the morning. and well was bless by the msg on peace. and then went for the afternoon svc again. but this time i was rather pissed off during the drama. cause i'm sitting behind this new friend and he keep talking and me being rather short have to keep straining to see the drama. and i was super piss off i kept cursing in my heart :X got to go and repent. then after that cool down. after svc, we went to hall 6 to play carnival. or rather eat. i was rather stoned at first because of something that happen. then i slowly turn back to normal.
then went to play meteorite again. this time we dragged wen kai XD. and we were screaming and playing games during the ride. then around 6 we left. everyone except us and merilyn went to orchard to countdown. erm i went home la. slept on the way back. it was soo sweet until somebody had to drop his drumsticks. (for drums) on the floor and woke me up.
then went to buy dinner and stuffs.

cross my fingers and hope i don't speak any vulgarities tml. or if i'm darn pissed tml. i'll stuff the whole bottle of licorice down whoever that gets on my nerves tml. and if i speak any vulgarities. i'll go and repent for 2 hours straight. guess i'll on this comp and leave it on and please NO MATTER WHAT FEEL FREE TO SPAM ME OR ANYTHING. cause i'll be darn bored tml.
and if there's any nonsensical msg received, please note that they are written by my mature NOT cousins or rather childish guys. heh note is GUYS. i'm the eldest grand daughter and i doubt any of my younger cousins have the guts to touch the comp. no matter what i'll get ready that bottle of licorice, quarter eaten i think. its awful.and i'm soo prepared to blow up. and if anyone is boliao or anything maybe drop by and you can find me sitting on the stairs out =/

umm MERRY CHRISTMAS!
okay abit too early for that. but anyway its christmas eve already.
like yay! a new year is going to start!
and BUHBYE 2006. soon.
uh well cut the crap.
it was wonderful today.
yup i woke up like 10+
and went down just in time before mac switch to the lunch one.
then rush out down to expo.
sat there la. then see them play and eat.
erm then like 3+ we went in and sat at bravo terrace.
and stupid chyuan ming made me run all the way to echo arena twice.
and in the end still he went with n242.
well svc was great. drama was wonderful. RYAN is wonderful!
and then went to hall 6 after svc.
ate and stuff the queue up for the meteorite thingy
like IT IS SOOO DARN FUN.
maybe due to the fact i ate 3 snow ice.
makes me VERY HIGH.
i was laughing like mad and screaming like crazy during the ride.
and then well abit dizzy.
then fellowship chat and play whacko games.
erm went home with mummy and daddy.
and daddy had to help out for usher.
so mummy and i waited 30-45 mins for daddy.
and mummy was soo pissed.
tml 's svcs again but i think my back aint allowing me to go for games anymore.
it's soo weak now la. and i think it will take some time before it can stretch.
STUPID BACK. WELLL CHRISTMAS IS COMING.
ooo. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIGGY XD.

whatever the future have in hold for me. i don't want to go and think, i don't want to go and upset myself over it. whatever it may be. it will be. for now. i want to live my life each day so ever happy for everyone. and most importantly for God.
letting myself have a healthy emotional life is also the best gift i can give to everyone around me.
and the best gift anyone can give to me is to put a smile on their faces. :)

Um spent alot alot alot of money today.
thankfully pay came. but didnt tell mummy.
anyway it wasnt much like around 50+
uhhh well i was suppose to meet merilyn at serangoon 1 today.
she fell asleep while taking care of her sister.
and woke up at 1+. she came down at 2.
so we went to orchard area.
then ate pizza hut at lucky plaza.
erm ate alot alot. like we have lunch express.
ate pasta, then garlic bread, drumlets and bake beefballs.
and WHY IN THE WORLD THEY WONT PROVIDE GEMS CARD WHEN I WANT IT.
i was being kind. cause we wanted to write for someone.
unfortunately they dun have it. sad la. i'll write an email i guess.
and she'll get 25 bucks. :D
well anyway the time we finish stuffing everything down it was 3.30
then we walk around far east.
sent my dress to be alter. WALAU.
FREAKING 25 BUCKS GONE.
T.T ahh anyway met Gwen and Mallory.
chat and walk off liao. Merilyn bought a clip for herself.
well we went off at 5.30 or something.
then sent her to city hall and i went .
went to compass to walk around and buy presents for everyone XD.

Its work today.
work is still forever boring.
but new machine heh.
and new rules. what no show-ers to be suspended a week.
desmond got it. and there's forever somebody new each week la.
well work was okay and tiring.

like i'm fasting but there's food everywhere.
like on the bus i see beer.
on the mrt i see maggie mee.
in pizza hut i see pizzas, pastas, baked pastas, sweet drinks and more food.
even chilli sauce is tempting.
and therefore time past fast.
thankfully the far east trip is cancelled.
or i'll be sooo dead.
then upon reaching hougang point.
i was buying food with celest like siao.
and waiting for time to pass.
and now i'm soo bloated.

Resting day. um back was okay now.
infact i think due to the stretchings i did inspite of the pain.
but its still rather fragile =/
so i have to try not to stretch no matter how much temptations there is.
and well finally the fever is here. have been expecting it.
and THANK GOD it was before christmas.
miraculously it didnt rain today.
and i had to tell mummy i was on the bed the whole day cause i was
nursing a dumb muscle injury. but nevertheless
i went out with mummy today to settle some stuffs.
and i think i ate the wrong desert which result in serious vomiting.
walao wrong day for me lor.
tml i'm working tml. and then going far east with merilyn to alter my dress and shop for christmas gifts. and i finish wrapping some of the gifts :D

whatever i did, after that very day when you know everything. i'm betting with my heart.
i don't really have the faith. because i don't really know the answer.

Hey! sorry guys. haven been posting for 1-2 days XD
but nevertheless i was having tooo much fun and i just couldnt come online.
well and MONDAY. which was yesterday. emm.
i met merilyn freaking early at at erm?12.30.
we were all late due to the rain and stuffs.
and then we went to PS yoshinoya to fellowship
and uhh we were talking alot alot. and really catching up with one another.
then we went to walk around. erm went to the precious moments sale.
saw a beautiful music box la. but it's so freaking expensive XD.
around 30++ bucks for members i think. but anyway thats ON MY WISHLIST.
haha buy for me if you REALLY REALLY love me alot xD.
and went to KFC to sit around. now's Merilyn's turn to eat la.
chat until esther comes then well suddenly we think of going chomp chomp la.
it's IMPROMPTU. but anyway we manage to get timothy.
then they went to the arcade to play DDR and Daytona and anything they can find la.
cause some ex ex bowenians were hogging the machine.
then after playing i teach merilyn SYF dance la.
esther was playing alone.
then around 5. me and esther left for BS.
erm somehow Timothy came earlier and well they went to starbucks la.
me and esther had our bs. and we were half wet.
and somemore we were sitting inside the aircon walkway.
and BS lasted for 2 hrs. and gave me a aching back.
and we ran in the rain back to cathay and we were practically shivering.
well and i shared Java Chip with Merilyn blessed by TIMOTHY!
oo thanks! and well i got pretty high for awhile.
then eugene was there with merilyn.
and after merilyn left for her bs.
they went to arcade again.
well i sat outside la. cause well i've nothing to do in the arcade
and it was pretty noisy.
then was chatting with timothy and he was suaning esther la.
esther played DDR like dunno how many times.
emmm. then waited for merilyn and her bs ended around 10++
by then we were all starving. so we went to chomp chomp and met wen kai at serangoon.
erm order stingray to avenged steve irwin, em hum? hokkien mee and sugar cane.
well it started raining halfway and we had to shift.
errm wen kai was high high la.
and then jokes and chats.
left around 12.30
took 315 and i walk all the way home
walking home was although like scary cause everywhere's dark.
and well raining heavily. i had a good time reflecting on life and jumping on puddles.
and dancing in the rain.
well i reach home at 1+ s
squished my way through home and bathe and everything.
slept under the fan for fear of flu.

woke up like 8+ for dance.
then already my muscles were in a form of a line of ferrero rocher.
actually thought nothing of it.
then went for dance.
hang on until after the breaks and 3 practice of the moves when finally
my muscle gave way and end up i had to stop dancing.
ehh ryan said i pulled or dunno do what to one of my muscles.
which is bad la. cause i cant dance .
ryan spent like 10 minutes teaching us stuffs.
and actually 70% pressure is acting on your spine when you are sitting.
30% on your spine when you are standing and 0-5% pressure when you are
lying on your stomach.
and thats what he want me to do for the whole day.
and when i refused. he commanded me la. saying thats the dance move haha.
when muscles from anypart of the body shuts down.
meaning the other muscles have to work harder.
forcing them to shut down sooner or later.
he taught a new eight. and it got him freaking mad la.
cause we cant do it well. and he almost walked out on the class.
actually if i were him, i would have do that long ago.
and what they were doing seriously, i dunno what to say.
i was also scaring myself.cause i was lying on my hands
and they went numb la. then i remembered ryan said if anything numb
sure have something got to do with the spine. so i was giving myself false alarm.
and well got held back until 1+
then rush down to timothy house to bake cookies for new friends for christmas.
well erm then wen kai came. and they went to buy the ingredients
merilyn and i were talking to auntie and checking out recipes.
then when they came back, we started doing la.
and well erm, soon around 5+ wen kai left, esther came.
then continue baking till like very late
and we even have some left.
so we ate a cookie at 6. when we finish fasting
and then we were watching shows on youtube till dinnertime.
their dinner is like so totally different from my family one lor.
at least they eat together while heh. my dining table is to collect dust.
ate very little but nevertheless timothy's mum cook very well, better then my mum XP.
then we went abck to watching funny comedies on youtube la.
and time past fast lor. watch till 10.30pm then we left timothy's house .
took 159 home with esther and squishing puddles along the way.
and i agitated my back even more by slouching.
and taking a cold water bath instead of a hot one.
and now sitting in a 70% pressurised position.
well dance's cancel. i guess ryan got too angry .
and i am not going to tell muummmy about my injuries la.
or else she's gonna make me scream for help. sooner or later.

I'm feeling very screwed up right now. damn screwed up.
The damn PMS feeling is all coming. it's all coming.

well just make good use of the last two weeks before i gotta return to jail again.
and MERILYN is back. seriously two weeks feels like TWO LONG MONTHS.
well she's prettier and still radiant.
actually didnt really wanted to go la.
cause i'm about to have my PMS syndrome and haven been feeling good.
but seriously i miss her alot alot can. the two weeks is hell la.
so i decided to follow my heart la.
and i went to buy her whitespot solution and was late for 30 mins. SORRY GUYS.
met nixi,esther and timothy at Popeyes.
then we spent our time telling jokes, playing games and talking.
then around four we left. for T2. and sat at Pacific Coffee Company.
had Tiramisu and Coffee. and then Japheth came.
end up Merilyn called esther and end up she was at T1.
then we took the skytrain back to T1.
and it was soo dumb chaotic. end up we still meet merilyn.
took 24 home. on the way did Science homework.
walked home in the rain. and then stoned in front of the tv.
Tml is most likely bs day, with merilyn and esther.

before service. played a game called chu chu train.
and i got serene to go with me.
we meet at city hall and even though we left the latest.

then went home la.

and we have to face most of the time what we dread.
treating enemies with grace.
can i do that?

no matter what. don't worry, don't doubt, don't give up on me. time is much needed.

Em a busy busy day. cause cg was held at my house.
and mummy is sick. so i'm doing much of the things myself.
somemore i was doing refreshments. so its like BUSY.
actually wanted to bring Darling down for a quick sun
but end up time wasnt on my side. went to ntuc.
then bought stuffs for refreshments.
i saw rong kai. but he didnt see me.
then went to buy lunch. uhh well
went home, have a quick lunch.
and then clean up the house and everything la.
cg was good. and well they stayed till 6.30

I was out for the very first time since wednesday.
see how pathetic i am.
yup so me esther and james went bowling.
haha never bowl for 7 months le. see how rusty i am.
coincidentally, samson and jerome was there.
so we took the lane beside them la.
they two very pro lor, sometimes very tyco.
em they played 5 games. we played 4.
then they went to play daytona with esther.
i finish off the game with james.
the ball was too small for him la. so end up only that one game.
well i got a strike and many many spares.
esther got many of times where she hit nine and left one.
and and also my ball turn many times. XD.
there's this guy beside us , erm lane 3.
he keep observing us lor. then er every time he bowl.
the ball will turn and then strike all. so pro lor.
and for the first time i win james la.
its advantage lor. cause the ball hole is too small for him.
then end up his thumb side crack and bleed -.-
erm guess next time go raffles there. 2 bucks per game, and they give you
the ball after they measure your fingers. like better lor.
then went to pay the bills lor.
its 17.90. like sooo much cheaper then last time.
5 of us bowled and we paid 36 +
after paying we went to the arcade to find samson and the rest.
they played a few rounds and always lor. is jerome's machine funny lor.
so end up he got left out.
then esther won a few times.
and james won too. so end up we left.
then er jerome and samson went to work lor.
they dump a stack of flyers on the floor then kick around lor.

we walked all the way to plaza sing slowly.
went to cine to game and then to shop around.
and esther make a mistake by telling me and HERSELF.

so she happily walked to Ps to yoshinoya to eat.
and she went to order and stuff la.

Pablo Picasso Biography - 1881-1973





No other artist is more associated with the term Modern Art than Pablo Picasso. He created thousands of paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramics during a time span of about 75 years. For many Picasso is the greatest art genius of the twentieth century. For others he is a gifted charlatan. Undisputed is the fact that he influenced and dominated the art of the twentieth century like no other modern artist.



Pablo Picasso was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain, as the son of an art and drawing teacher. He was a brilliant student. He passed the entrance examination for the Barcelona School of Fine Arts at the age of 14 in just one day and was allowed to skip the first two classes. According to one of many legends about the artist's life, his father, recognizing the extraordinary talent of his son, gave him his brushes and palette and vowed to paint never again in his life.



Blue and Rose Period
During his lifetime, the artist went through different periods of characteristic painting styles. The Blue Period of Picasso lasted from about 1900 to 1904. It is characterized by the use of different shades of blue underlining the melancholic style of his subjects - people from the grim side of life with thin, half-starved bodies. His painting style during these years is masterly and convinces even those who reject his later modern style.
During Picasso's Rose Period from about 1905 to 1906, his style moved away from the Blue Period to a friendly pink tone with subjects taken from the world of the circus.



Cubism
After several travels to Paris, the artist moved permanently to the "capital of arts" in 1904. There he met all the other famous artists like Henri Matisse, Joan Miro and George Braques. He became a great admirer of Henri Matisse and developed a life-long friendship with the master of





French Fauvism.
Inspired by the works of Paul Cezanne, he developed together with George Braque and Juan Gris developed the Cubist style. In Cubism, subjects are reduced to basic geometrical shapes. In a later version of Cubism, called synthetic cubism, several views of an object or a person are shown simultaneously from a different perspective in one picture.



Picasso and Guernica
In 1937 the artist created his landmark painting Guernica, a protest against the barbaric air raid against a Basque village during the Spanish Civil War. Picasso's Guernica is a huge mural on canvas in black, white and grey which was created for the Spanish Pavilion of the Paris World's Fair in 1937. In Guernica, Picasso used symbolic forms - that are repeatedly found in his works following Guernica - like a dying horse or a weeping woman.
Guernica was exhibited at the museum of Modern Art in New York until 1981. It was transferred to the Prado Museum in Madrid/Spain in 1981 and was later moved to the Queen Sofia Center of Art, Madrid in 1992. Picasso had disallowed the return of Guernica to Spain until the end of the rule of Fascism by General Franco.





Pablo Picasso and Women
Picasso changed his companions at least as often as his painting styles.
The relationships with women influenced his mood and even his art styles. The shift from the "blue" to the "rose period" was probably a result of meeting Fernande Olivier, his first companion. The artist made numerous portraits of his wives and companions and of his children.
During his early years in Paris, he lived with Fernande Olivier for seven years. During World War I, from 1914 to 1918, Picasso worked in Rome where he met his first wife, Olga Koklova, a Russian ballet dancer. In 1927 he met Marie Therese Walther, a seventeen year old girl and began a relationship with her. In 1936 another woman, Dora Maar, a photographer, steped into his life. In 1943 he encountered a young female painter, Francoise Gilot. In 1947 she gave birth to Claude, and in 1949 to Paloma, Picasso's third and fourth child. The artists's last companion was Jacqueline Roque. He met her in 1953 and married her in 1961.



In 1965 Pablo Picasso had to undergo a prostrate operation. After a period of rest, he concentrated on drawings and a series of 347 etchings. In spite of his health problems, he created a number of paintings during his last years. On April 8, 1973 he died at the age of 91.

Picasso as a Printmaker
Picasso was not only a very prolific printmaker, but also a very diverse one in the use of a great variety of different techniques. He created lithographs, etchings, drypoints, lino cuts, woodcuts and aquatints. Always on the search for something new, he experimented a lot with these techniques. Some of Picasso's graphic works are combinations of several techniques.
Picasso created his first prints in 1905 - a series of 15 drypoints and etchings, Les Saltimbanques, published by the art dealer Vollard in 1913. More graphic works were produced in the early 1930's. But it was in the years after World War II that most of Picasso's prints were created.



Like Chagall, also Picasso worked with the Atelier Mourlot, a renowned art publisher and print workshop in Paris. Pablo Picasso created about 200 lithographs from 1945 to 1949 in close cooperation with Henri Deschamps, a professional printmaker from the Mourlot studio.



Was he a Charlatan?
There are numerous books and articles with anectodes, citations and interviews by Picasso. It is hard to figure out what is real and what are inventions or fakes. Picasso did not seem to care too much what the press wrote about him as long as they wrote about him at all. Whether by intuition or carefully planned, he was a marketing genius, spinning his own legend at lifetime.
Picasso had an excellent business sense. He paid even small amounts by cheque: "People rather keep the cheque for my famous signature than to cash it." He enjoyed being famous and rich. He was charming and witty and he liked to confuse, to provoke and to have his fun with the public.
After visiting an exhibition of children's drawings: "When I was their age I could draw like Raphael, but it took me a lifetime to learn to draw like them."



About art: "You expect me to tell you what art is? If I knew it, I would keep it for myself."



About abstract art: "There is no abstract art. You must always start with something.


Afterwards you can remove all traces of reality."



Collecting Picasso Prints
Picasso had created a total of more than 20,000 art objects during his lifetime - enough to keep the art market for his works in continuous movement.
Picasso prints are a wide hunting ground for art aficionados. Prices vary widely, depending on edition size, whether a print is signed and numbered, on age and on the attraction of the subject. In 1999, an aquatint called La Femme au Tambourin, signed in pencil and numbered 30/30 was sold for US$376,500 at Christie's in New York. But you can also buy an original Picasso print for a few hundred dollars from a large and unsigned edition or an edition that was made by a skilled printmaker after Picasso. These prints were often produced after drawings of the great master and with the approval or at least his knowledge. Some have his signatures on the plate, some have no signature at all. Such prints are by no means of any minor artistic value. They may not be the first choice from an investment value aspect. But they are a great way for art lovers who want to own an original piece of art by Picasso without having to spend a fortune.

o well at least i have two days to recover from my muscleaches.

erm well i was super tired.
i stoned to sleep at like 8++
o well i left my comp on.
and and well i fell asleep.
woke up super early like at 7.59 XD
then i keep stoning for no reason.

confusion in a state of mind after another.
first i was thinking if syf clash with cellgroup,
would i go for cg or continue with the practice.
coz if i go for syf, i would have to go for make up cg.
and jo says then you will be transfer to another cg.
if i go for cg. i would have miss out on alot alot of things i could have learnt
and especially this is my last syf i'm doing . well for the school but not for the school.
for me. ryan had made dance my passion and now.
taking away syf would mean the world crash on me.
and who gives a damn to the generous cca points i can earn from syf.
like so what if i earn 14 points last year.
i dun even care. so well i went for dance today.
erm i asked ms clara chan.
and since like me, celest, adrina, merilyn in dance.
and she knows we and ryan are part of chc la.
she knows whatever commitment we have.

and well we told ms chan we cannot on wed.

I was like OH YAY.
the train to sentosa from harbourfront can save us from the 3 bucks thingy we had to pay when we entered sentosa.
HAH NO. the train ride was 3 bucks. T.T

Uhh well. mummy woke me up at 11.
in an angry tone. funny lar.
then end up she just want me to wake up.
then like i went online and everything.
o2jammed. and play around till 2.30
then bathe and change and left home at 3.00

then went to find wen kai and the rest.
emm.wasnt feeling well although fever went down.
and i wasnt concentrating coz it feels like if i concentrate.

we went to changi. planned to go to the canteen

WHOA. Dec liaos.
this year past very fast.
and in 24 days, we are going to celebrate christmas :D
and in 16 days, Mer will be back.
was very tired today, running a high fever now and almost fainted just now.
i slept at 3 am because i was making merilyn the card and then woke up at 5.30am
and then went to the airport.
and send Mer off T.T
then me esther and wen kai sat at burger king to chat.
and took a train down novena where i go off to work la.
and so wen kai and esther went to walk around.
i work la. halfway was like very tired liao.
anytime can drop dead lah.
but when i see esther they all eat ice cream abit got energy liaos
and i bless them la. okay lah not totally because timothy gave me 10 bucks.
and so blessing people is a gd thing.
not because you get something in return.
but because you can see the smile on their faces.
then after they left. i really cannot make it liao.
so i went to the CSR there to sleep.
then end up i accompany celest to do her medical check up.
and then i did bar la.
also can slack lor,
by 5 i left.
met esther, timothy and wen kai at cine there.
went to the arcade.
esther play her DDR then timothy and wen kai play pool.
then me and esther left lar coz they meetig their friends mah.
then we went to Lan and i play o2jam.

and then it was like quite hard to concentrate.
so i anyhow post one lah. but this will be full of details.
i was in sort of a crazy mood today.
while on msn, i was actually sweeping and mopping the floor lah.
mummy thinks i am mad la.
then at 2 i cook their dinner.
and i went out.
met merilyn at BK.
then we went to shop for her formal dinner wear lah.
and then help her choose assesories.
and she got her tiara.
and then teach her how to tie her nice nice with the tiara la.
then we walk down towards dhoby ghaut and well went to OG
to look for my D&D dress, well i found it.
from 299 it became 49 bucks.
and it was 90 cents cheaper then merilyn.
uhh went to harbourfront and walk vivo.
then went to yong jian chalet la.
and then left at 10++
reach home at 11.45
erm conferenced with esther, timothy and wen kai.
till now. catching a short nap and i'll be up, going to the airport =(
